Innerkeep was started in Austin, Texas by the team behind a consulting firm that's spent years running technology delivery for companies of all sizes, from scrappy startups to banks and Fortune 500 enterprises, work that's included the security reviews, vendor assessments, and compliance processes (SOC 2 among them) that larger clients demand.

Along the way, the same conversation kept happening. Clients weren't asking whether to use AI, their teams were already using it. They were asking: what's actually in use, where is our data going, what is this costing us, and who's watching all of it? The honest answer at most companies was nobody.

Big enterprises solve this with security teams and expensive consultants. Everyone else has been left to figure it out alone.
